Ardith Palier, 83 years, of Kansas City, passed away on Saturday December 12, 2020 at Liberty Hospital. She was born on Wednesday December 16, 1936 in Polo, the daughter of the late John and the late Linney (née McGlothlin) Campbell. Survivors Include: • Michael (Cara) Palier, son, of Richmond, Missouri • Jonna Clinesmith, daughter, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri • Byron (Trisha) Palier, grandson, of Orrick, Missouri • Heather (Chris Hall) Palier, granddaughter, of Richmond, Missouri • Vanessa (Josiah) Stegner, granddaughter, of Kansas City, Missouri • Anton (Alex VanderVeen) Clinesmith, grandson, of Liberty, Missouri • Four great-grandchildren • Many cousins In addition to her parents, Ardith was preceded in death by • Anton Palier, husband • William Trusty, husband Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec 16 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, Dec 16 from 1:00 PM at Richmond Memory Garden. Ardith worked as an accountant for KW Dart. After her time there, she continued in the accounting field at TWA. She ended her working career at Reese and Nichols as the office assistant for multiple agents. Ardith was one of the original residents of Wood Heights, Missouri. She assisted with the opening of NAWS, a spay/neuter clinic in the Northland. She loved animals and rescuing dogs. Although she didn't prefer it, Ardith was a good cook. She loved her flowers and landscaping her yard. She enjoyed going to the sporting activities of her grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren. Her favorite sport was high school wrestling. She loved to travel; she especially enjoyed Spain, Rome, and London. She went to everything her kids and grandkids participated in. She loved the KC Chiefs and enjoyed watching the KC Royals, as well. Services will be officiated by Pastor Jim Claypool. Memorial donations may be directed to Northland Animal Welfare Society (NAWS).
