Willeta Mae Ruth (Stark) Williams passed away Monday, January, 4, 2021 in Richmond, Mo. at Shirkey’s resthome. She was born November 13 , 1926 in Carroll County, the daughter of William Henry Stark and Annarose Laura (Thoeni) Stark. She was united in marriage to David L. Williams on December, 14, 1944. They lived their entire married life in Excelsior Springs, Mo. To this union, three sons were born: David Lee Jr., John Leslie Williams, Glen Edwin (Eddie) Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David, all three sons, and 6 brothers. She had no grand-children. She has 2 surviving sisters, Sharon Kay (Stark) Eden, Iowa, Shirley Mae ( Stark) Wheeler , Carrollton, Mo. Brothers Gary Lee Stark, Roger Wayne Stark, both of Carrollton, Mo. and Charles Lloyd Stark of Yukon, Oklahoma. She started her education in Excelsior Springs, and finished in Colorado, after her family moved there. She was an avid fisherman, loved to cook, played the Harmonica, and was a well- respected seamstress and Quilt-maker. She taught Sunday school class and helped teach English to some young students. She will be cremated, with services at a later date.
