Obituary of Kerrie Gene Mick

Please share a memory of Kerrie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kerrie Gene Mick was born in Kansas City, MO on, March 3, 1965 to the late Dave and Shirley Daniels. Kerrie was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, friend, and brother to many siblings. He was an amazing fisherman, hunter and all around outdoorsman. He lived his life to the fullest. He had a rough life and went through many trials and tribulations. No matter what was happening in his life he loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. He left this world with all his family at his side. All the way to the very end he kept saying go get his fishing stuff and boat so we can go to the river. Kerrie was and always will be known as "Catfish Kerrie". He could out fish anyone and he didn't even need a fishing pole to catch fish. His's daughter said he could fish with a piece of fishing wire with a hook and some weights with catfish on the end of it and catfish with that nasty BJ. He is survived by his children: Ashley Berry, Sunnie Chesney, Derek Mick, Tristn Mick , Kerrie Ann Mick, Grandchildren; Ryan Graham, Dillan Graham, Ayden Kennard, William Graham, Tanner Graham, Abgail Chesney, Patience Chesney, Gunner Mick, Peyten Fields, and two brothers; Jerry Mick and Mark Mick, two sisters; Shirl A. Mick and Sandy Mick, three step brothers; Jimy Buck, Billy Buck, Jerry Buck, and one step sister; Betty Mohr. Preceded in death by his parents Dave and Shirley Daniels, stepbrothers; Brian Daniels, Steven Craig Daniels, and stepsister; Carolyn Mohr. Memorial Service Monday, January 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Kearney, MO 816-903-8888.
