Ida Mae Corder, 83, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on February 26, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Richmond. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, March 5, 2021 also at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Richmond. A burial will follow at Sunny Slope Cemetery, Richmond, Missouri. Ida Mae was born on April 6, 1937 in Richmond, Missouri. She was raised on the farm, graduated high school, and was married young. She gave birth to Teresa and Larry and was a stay at home mom in the beginning, but she eventually went on to work outside the home. Ida divorced in 1982 never to remarry. She worked and made her way on her own for the rest of her life. She managed a McDonalds for a while, but then went on to the banking business and later retired from there. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Gertrude Hessenflow, daughter Teresa Corder, and granddaughter Amy Corder. Survivors include her son, Larry, grandchildren; Eric, Paul, Christian, Evan and Gabrielle Corder, Dustin Miller, Jennifer Harrison, and great grandchildren; Nickolas, Kinsley, and Lennon Corder, and Mason Miller.
