Obituary of Danny Franklin Taylor

Danny Franklin Taylor, "Boone", 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at home in Lawson. Danny was born on March 18, 1938 in Orrick, Mo., the youngest son of James Elvin and Millie (Hall) Taylor. On November 22, 1963 Danny was united in marriage to Ethel Ann Eaves , of Kearney, Mo, at Ethel's parents home. After a couple of years of residing in Excelsior Springs, Mo, they then made their home in rural Lawson. Danny was raised in rural Orrick, attending his first years of school at Centennial School before moving with his parents to rural Lawson in 1948. He attended Butler School, a one room school in rural Lawson before attending Lawson High School, graduating in 1956. He was a farmer all his life, served in Missouri National Guard, and worked for Ford Motor Company for 31 years, retiring in 1992. Preceding him in his death were his parents; sisters, Bobbie Phelps, Lorene Scott, Angie Drew, and brothers, John Taylor and Virgil Taylor. Survivors include Ethel Ann, wife of 57 years, a daughter, Karla Renee' Easley and her husband, Randall, of Kearney, Mo., one bonus grandson, Zachary Easley, Kansas City, Mo., a brother Donald Taylor (Alta), Lawson, Mo., a sister, Billie Cross, Sugar Creek, Mo., Brother in laws, Jim Eaves (Deby) and Rob Eaves ( Dorothy), of Kearney, Mo., sister in law Mary McCombs from Lawson, Sister in law, Mary Ruth Taylor Richmond, Mo and many nieces and nephews. Danny's passions in life were his God, family, farming with his brother Donald and nephew Mike, gardening, and John Deere Poppers. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Lawson, MO from 3p to 5p. Casual Dress. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
