Austin Reno Tripp, 23, of Lawson, Missouri passed away April 3, 2021 in Perris County, California. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Lawson Assembly of God with a memorial service following at 6pm. Austin (known as “Big Juicy” by his friends) was born December 15, 1997 in Lawson, Missouri to Roger and Lisa Tripp. Austin was raised in Lawson and enjoyed playing sports and riding dirtbikes. Austin attended Lawson High School where he played football and wrestled. Austin graduated from Lawson High School in 2016. After graduating, Austin enlisted in the Navy and was stationed in San Diego, California on the USS Carl Vinson. Austin achieved the rank of Boatswain Mate. Throughout his military career, Austin’s duties took him to Guam, Vietnam, Hawaii, and Korea. Austin was also stationed in Seattle for a year. Austin was a fitness enthusiast and loved getting “juicy” at the gym. Austin was a best friend and encourager to anyone he came in contact with. He will be missed by so many for his words of support and big bear hugs. Austin is survived by his father and mother, Roger and Lisa (Pichel) Tripp of Lawson, Missouri and younger brother, Garett Tripp of Lawson, MO. Austin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Kathy Pichel. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask for donations to be made to the KC Pet Project.
