Kenneth Lee Siverly, 61, of Kearney, passed away at Centerpoint Medical Center on May 14, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Ken was born to Fred and Virginia (Keenan) Siverly August 23rd, 1959 in Creston, Iowa and grew up on the family farm near Clearfield, Iowa. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1978 and Northwest Missouri State University in 1982. Ken married Karen Schoeller June 12th, 1983 in Liberty, Missouri. Together they raised one son Brenton and one daughter Katie. Ken enjoyed spending time with family and had many hobbies which included tracing family genealogy, reading, traveling and selling antiques and collectibles. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Siverly and brother-in-laws Ron Mobley and Ron Schoeller. Survivors include his wife of nearly 38 years Karen, son Brenton of Columbia, Missouri, daughter Katie of Kearney, Missouri; mother Virginia Siverly of Mt. Ayr, Iowa; sisters; Nancy (Ron) Brown of Diagonal, Iowa, Sue Mobley of Benton, Iowa, and Martha (Lewis) Larson of Clearfield, Iowa; Father and Mother Inlaw Bill and Madeline Schoeller of Liberty, Missouri and Brother and Sister-In-law Tim (Jana) Schoeller of Kearney, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.
