James was born on March 1, 1973 in Kansas City Missouri. He passed away in Liberty Missouri on May 30, 2021. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 6, 2021 from 3:30 to 5:30pm at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs. Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 7, 2021 starting at 11am here at the funeral home. James was a lifelong resident of Excelsior Springs Missouri. He graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1991. In that same year, he set off and joined the Navy. He was discharged in 1993 after serving his country honorable. James had a few factory jobs before settling down at Ford where he spent most of his career. His first day on the job at Ford was on April 12, 2000. He was a jack of all trades at Ford always looking to become proficient in every job on the assembly line. He was very passionate about all motor sports but predominately Motor Cross and four wheeling. He had a special place in his heart for hot wheels, being that he’s collected them from a very young age till now. He loved his hobbies and loved doing them with his buddies. James also loved to travel with family and friends. James is survived by his parents; Frank Mattivi and Ruth Wolf, two siblings; Joe Mattivi, Jennifer Mattivi, uncle; James Maxwell, aunt; Sharon Gardner, and many other nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
