Bryce Kent Craven, 64 years, of Lawson Missouri, passed away on Tuesday June 8, 2021 at Liberty Hospital. The graveside service will be held on Monday, Jun 14 from 1:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery, 449 Crown Hill Drive, Excelsior Springs, MO. He was born on Tuesday March 19, 1957 in St. Louis Missouri. He is the son of the late Clyde and Loretta Fern (Titus) Craven. He married the love of his life, Samatha Sue, on June 7, 1986 in Excelsior Springs. Bryce taught English and Social Studies(civics) to 7th and 8th grade for 25 years. He always had time for his students. He mimicked his lessons from a teacher that inspired him. When he retired, he couldn't sit long at home and began working with a Temp service at a plastic factory where he eventually became full time. He retired from there after 10 years. He was a major collector of all kinds of books, music, and movies. He also loved going to garage sales. But his favorite thing is his grandchildren. Especially his grand daughter who always put a light in his eyes. He is survived by his wife; Samatha Sue, two children; Zachary Craven, Lorri (Gabriel) Schake, two grandchildren; Shandria Schake, and Nicholas Schake. He is preceded in death his parents, and many aunts and uncles.
