Kenneth Dale Wellman, 84 years, of Kearney, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at his residence. He was born on Sunday, November 1, 1936, in Carrollton, Missouri, the son of the late Henry and the late Martha (née Smith) Wellman. Kenny was one of 9 sibling. He married Myra Sue Lybarger on August 18, 1956, in Bogard, Missouri. They were married for 65 years. Kenny enjoyed the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. He worked at the Ford Plant for 31 years. Upon retiring, he and his wife bought a large farm near Cowgill, Missouri, which the family enjoyed very much. Kenny was active in the community, he was a Mason and a Shriner, and also a Life-time member of the Elks Lodge 1001 and served as the Exalted Ruler. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved his family and his country. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. Services will be officiated by Art Endsley. Memorial donations may be directed to St Judes Children's Research Hospital.
