Russell Lee Weaver of Kearney, MO passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 3, 2021. He was born on April 9, 1930 and lived in Waverly, MO most of his life where he graduated from high school, met and married his loving wife, Helen Ford-Weaver. They celebrated 71 years of marriage on March 21, 2021. They moved to Kearney, MO in 2010 to be closer to their daughters. Throughout his adult life, Russell was active in his community and the Waverly Christian Church where he enjoyed helping the church and neighbors whenever he could. He also loved to travel and enjoyed Colorado in the summer and Florida in the winter. Memorizing the Bible, exercise, and long walks were his passion. Russell is survived by his wife, Helen, and two daughters, Gwenda Duzenberry and Susan Hanson and son-in-law Robert Hanson of Kearney, MO. He has four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is gone from this world but will live in our hearts forever.
