Anthony “Tony” Richard Alvarado passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021. Tony was born August 20, 1939 in Kansas City, MO, to Catherine Rodriques and Gonzalo Alvarado. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force (1956-1960), and worked in a variety of auto painting jobs before working at Trans World Airlines, until his retirement. Tony and Rita Kay (Stallcup) Barker married in 1980, and together, they raised two children Timothy and Katricia. God and family were their greatest joys in life. They were both selfless and always tried to help others. They will be greatly missed by family and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Berman, and father Gonzalo Alvarado.
