Janet Irene (Litle) Gable, 65 years, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at her residence. She was born on Thursday April 26, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Leland and Hazel (née Glass) Litle. She married Gerald Gable on August 31, 1973, at the First Methodist Church, Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Janet graduated from Excelsior Springs High School, and attended Excelsior Springs Votech, studying Sales and Distribution Education and Early Childhood Development. She loved her kids and grandkids. She spent 10 years in the scouting program. She loved camping, fishing, swimming, boating and traveling. Together her and her husband traveled throughout the US, her favorite places being South Dakota and Colorado Springs. She enjoyed the mountains and the beaches. She spent a lot of time in Branson at Table Rock Lake. She had a lot of friends near Stockton Lake and they spent a lot of weekends there. However, the deepest love she had was for her grandkids and she enjoyed watching their games and activities. The Funeral will follow at 4:30 PM. Janet's Burial will take place on Wednesday, Aug 11, 2021 at 5:30 PM at Windy Hill Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Mark Spohn. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be direct to St Judes Children's Research Hospital.
