Edward Ira Insell, 76, of Lawson, Missouri passed away August 16, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, August 23, 2021 at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. Mr. Insell was born on July 13, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. Edward was a United States Marine with the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed golfing and fishing in his spare time and was a lifelong member of the VFW, the Marine Corps League and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents Emma Pate Eckert and John William Insell, long time companion Sandy Goodheart, and siblings Mary Foley, Gailan Boles, Everett Eckert, Robert Eckert, Garnett Eckert and Sue King. Survivors include daughters Angela (Jim) Endicott, Fort Scott, KS, Melissa Southard, Louisburg, KS, and Robin O'Brien, Spring, TX, brother John Eckert of Lawson, MO, 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and great friends.
