Delores Jean Cerrone, 58 years, of Excelsior Springs Missouri, passed away on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at her home. She was born on Thursday September 12, 1963 in Cameron Missouri. She is the daughter of the late Marvin and Anna (née Carolyn) Gray. Delores grew up on her family farm in Jamesport Missouri. After high school, Delores enlisted in the United States Army and served her country honorably. In 1985 she was discharged and knew it was time for her to start a family, and that’s exactly what she did. She was a very hard worker, putting herself through school to become a RN in labor and delivery. Her favorite holiday was Halloween, dressing up, and watching the movie Hocus Pocus. She loved spending time with her family. Survivors Include her three children; John Cerrone , Andrew (Meredith) Cerrone, and Shayla Cerrone, mother, Anna Gray, four grandchildren; Hazel Cerrone, Samuel Cerrone, John Cerrone III, Maverick Cerrone, and two sisters; Carol Paul, Linda Bohannon. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Cerrone, and father Marvin Gray.
