Obituary of Daniel Ray Miller

Please share a memory of Daniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Danny Miller, 52 years, of Lawson, Missouri passed away on November 3, 2021. Danny was born September 21, 1969, to Harold and Dorothy Miller. What do you say about someone who is larger than life? Danny and Michelle were one word; there was rarely one without the other. They've known each other since their early teen years; she was his first challenge. No one could rope Danny in but Michelle. He loved Miranda and Devynne so much and enjoyed sharing his love of adventure with them from snow to water to mountains to the arena - they did it all. Michelle and the girls were the Joy of his life. He was also a devoted son, cherished brother, and fun-loving uncle. Danny was the real cowboy. His first passion was the love of horses, and that never changed in his life. He was a champion team roper and was known to say, "Winning just never gets old." Danny was an adrenaline junkie: the ultimate adventure leader. He lived more life in his 52 years than most people could in 152 years. He loved anything with a powerful motor and wheels or 4 hooves and a mane. Danny was owner of Miller's Custom Cabinets and Signature Solid Surface. He started working with his brother, Dean, at the cabinet shop when he was a senior in high school and never looked back. Over the years his vision for the companies has grown into what you see today. They say, ''Heroes get remembered, legends never die." Danny was a legend. Often described as dependable, generous, compassionate, an encourager, confident, and a man full of faith. As a lifelong member of Lawson of Assembly of God, his love for the Lord was contagious and impactful to those around him. He was a man of wisdom and wanted to help everyone. Danny was a pillar of the community and will greatly be missed. With a Mountain Dew in his hand, Danny would say, ''Live life to the fullest." Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Miller, and mother-in-law, Ricki Martin. Danny is survived by his wife, Michelle Miller, daughters, Miranda and Devynne Miller, father, Harold Dean Miller, siblings, Dean Miller (Heidi), Kathy Guilkey (Gene), Irene Harrison (Eddie), Kenny Miller (Deana), father-in-law, Frank Martin, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. His work family and all the other lives he impacted. The Broken Chain We little knew that morning, that God was going to call your name In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home You left us peaceful memories, your love will always be our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Seller's Performing Arts Center in Lawson, Missouri from 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral will be held at 7:00pm also at the Seller's Performing Arts Center. A private family burial will take place. The family would like memorial contributions to be sent to the Lawson Assembly of God Church for their building project and the Convoy of Hope.
