Ventia Parson, 74 years, of Excelsior Springs, passed away on Sunday November 28, 2021 at North Kansas City Hospital. She was born on Tuesday February 18, 1947 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of the late William and the late Jessie (Simmons) Rodgers. Survivors Include: two daughters; Stacey (John) Wardlow and Keely Jo Skillman, one son; Darren Wayne Parsons, five grandchildren; Jadelyn K. O'Dell, Maryls J. Lindsey, Gavin B. Skillman, Hunter G. Parsons, and Shelby C. Cornett, one great grandchild; Blake Macrander, and one nephew; Dennis Lee True. Preceded in death by her parents William and Jessie Rodgers. Venita Parsons Service will be held on Monday, Dec 6 from 12:30-1:00 PM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs 5951 Highway 10, Excelsior Springs.
