Forrest “Frosty” was born in Eudora, Kansas, on December 28, 1930, the son of the late Charles Edward Rowe and the late Mary Edna Rowe (née Blakeman). After graduating from high school, Frosty became a carpenter and worked in the field of heavy construction. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve during the Korean War. Frosty was joined in Holy Matrimony to Margaret Agnes Gleason on July 2, 1966 at St. Bridget Church, New Richmond, Wisconsin. Their marriage was blessed with two children. Frosty was raised in the Methodist tradition, then was received into the Catholic Church shortly before his marriage. He entered the Knights of Columbus and attained the Fourth Degree. Frosty was a man of genuine goodness who deeply loved his family and labored selflessly to provide for their every need. He was a faithful Catholic who strove to live by the commandments of Christ and his Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and his daughter Diona Mary Rowe. He is survived by his son Father Charles Neal Rowe. The Visitation for Frosty will take place from 5pm to 6:30pm on Thursday December 9 at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; the Vigil Prayer Service and Rosary will follow at 6:30pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday December 10 at St. Ann Church, Excelsior Springs. A luncheon will be served after Mass. Burial will take place at 1:30pm at Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial donations may be made to the Seminarian Education Fund of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph or St. Ann Parish, Excelsior Springs.
