William (Bill) White passed away on December 14, 2021. Bill was born January 4th, 1934 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri to Talmage and Evelyn Pearl (Mansell) White. He was baptized at the Assembly of God Church in 1948. He served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1962 and fought during the Korean Conflict receiving many commendations and medals. Bill married Judith Gayle Russell in 1959 and they resided in Excelsior Springs. He was an electrician for many years and held the position as the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for St. Luke’s Hospital in downtown Kansas City before retiring in 1995. Bill was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, feeding the wild birds in his yard and watching his buddy Red the squirrel. He was a member of the Ray County Veterans and looked forward to the weekly meeting with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Charlene (White) Sloan and brother Larry White. He is survived by his wife Judith, daughter Alisa (Luke) Woods, son Dale (Kim) White, son Paul (Dee) White, brother Noel (Sue) White, sister Linda (Ronnie) Hightower, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ray County Veterans in Richmond, Missouri. A celebration of life service will be planned and announced at a later date.
