Kathleen Conkling passed away December 27,2021 at home Kearney, Missouri surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born May 29, l952 in Janesville Wisconsin, moving to Kansas City, Kansas at the age of one. She was a graduate of Washington High School going on to spend her career at Burlington Northern Railroad as a Manager of Engineer Certification, retiring after 39 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ann Detlefson, and brother Harold Ralston. Kathy is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Heather Ginnings (Donavan, granddaughters Riley and Delaney), Parkville, MO, son Todd Conkling, Kearney, MO, sisters Barbara Golding, Bucyrus, KS, Mary Oman (John) Prairie Village, KS, brother Richard Ralston Gillette, Wyoming, and numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed entertaining, family dinners, travel, and most of all spending time with her family and attending her granddaughters many events. Her family and friends were blessed by her love, thoughtfulness, and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all.
