Curtis Emmett Keen, 71, died Saturday, February 5, 2022 due to complications from heart surgery. He was born on July 9, 1950 in Richmond, Missouri to Emmett & Agnes Keen who preceded him in death along with his three sisters; Ruth Maxine Taylor, Betty Ann South, and Mary Jane Allee, and two brothers Deryl William Keen and Calvin Wayne Keen. He was married to Paula (Creason) Keen on February 15, 1975 and they spent 44 happy years together until she passed in January of 2019. He is survived by his younger brother Jim Keen, his children; Robin (John Hackenberg) Tanner, Marcus (Dixie) Shelton, and Stacy (Stephen) Hodgson, 8 grandchildren; Alexandrea, Daniel, Jeanette, Ashley, Dystenie, Samantha, Kira, and Ronan, 7 great grandchildren, and scads of extended family on both sides and a long time and loving church family. As much as Curtis was loved while he was with us, he will be missed more every day. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10:00AM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Richmond, 9502 Leathers Rd. A funeral service will begin at 11:00AM also at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Richmond with a graveside service to follow at Richmond Memory Gardens.
