Jimmie Dale Frost, Jr., 58, of Rayville, Missouri passed away on March 3, 2022. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 5:00PM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs. A memorial service will follow the visitation on March 12, 2022 beginning 6:00PM with Military Honors also at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs, 5951 MO 10 Hwy, Excelsior Springs, MO. Mr. Frost was born September 2, 1963 in Jackson County, MO. Jimmie loved to ride motorcycles, go fishing, tell stories, sing and help others. He was once the only male in a cloth diaper baby changing contest and won! He loved his job at Heartland Behavioral Health and was in training to become a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor. Jimmie was an active member of KC Outreach Church, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, helping many people through his work. He was also in the Army from 1982-1984 serving as a nuclear/biological/chemical specialist. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmie Dale Frost, Sr., mother Charlene Pearl Scott, and brother Richard Dye. Survivors include partner Janice Maki of the home, four sons; Jeffery Frost of AK, Jonathan Frost of WA, Joseph Frost of WA, and Joshua Frost of WA, two daughters Kallista Frost of WA, Crystie Holsey of MO, three sisters; Christina, Devon, and Traci, brothers Mark and Bobby, six grandkids; Vincent, Jazlyn, Malcolm, Celvin, Kaytyn, and Deacon Holsey.
