Kirby J. Backues, 61, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri passed away on May 23, 2022 at home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 11:00AM at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. Mr. Backues was born on October 26, 1960 at Ray County Hospital, Richmond, MO. He loved to talk to people, enjoyed watching the Chiefs games and listening to Rock & Roll music. He will be missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by father Jake J. Backues (September 17, 2019), mother Mary Jane (Pennington) Backues (August 31, 2002), and brother Robbie D. Backues (March 14, 2018). Survivors include his brother Roger A. Backues.
