Blanche Ann Hancock, 71, of Kearney Missouri, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday June 5, 2022. Visitation will be held 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Kearney 925 E. State Route 92, Kearney on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Funeral Mass will be held 11AM Friday, June 10, 2022, at Church of the Annunciation 701 N. Jefferson, Kearney, Missouri. She was born on Monday December 4, 1950 in St Louis, Missouri and is the daughter of the late Fredrick and the late Mary (née Kaluza) Tigue. Blanche always had a smile on her face, a positive attitude no matter the situation and was very strong and courageous. She always wanted to have fun and help other enjoy life! Blanche and her family enjoyed fishing and swimming at their cabin and having fun on vacations. She enjoyed cooking and crafting with her kids and grandkids. Taking the scenic route was something you could always expect with Blanche. She was most proud of being a wife, mother, and nana as well as working for several years at Immacolata Manner and being a devout Catholic from birth until death. Blanche had many hobbies including arts and crafts, painting, reading, and playing games with her grandkids. She will be missed the most for her big heart, beautiful smile, loving nature and being a one of a kind wife, mother, and nana. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Hancock, two children: Kim (Jason Bauer) Hancock, Thomas (Celia) Hancock, two grandchildren: Claudia Grey, Amelia Hancock, two siblings: Mary Lou (Mike) Fahy, Sue (Jeff) Suda,; several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Blanche made life one hell of an adventure and will be missed and loved by all.
