Billie Jo Horn, 74 years, of Kearney Missouri, passed away on Thursday June 30, 2022 in Liberty Missouri. Billie's reception to celebrate her life will be held prior to the Memorial Service. The reception will be Friday, July 8 from 11:00 to 12:00 PM followed by her memorial service starting at 12:00 PM. They both will be at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Kearney, 925 E. State Route 92, Kearney. Billie was born on Saturday October 5, 1947 in Harrison, Arkansas. She is the daughter of the late William and late Mary (née Stonecipher) Brecht. She married the love of her life, Pat Horn, on June 1st 1968 and just celebrated 54 years of marriage this year. Billie loved being out in the sun. Trips to Mexico and Hawaii were some of her favorite memories. However, she did not need the sun to shine, she brightened others' lives every moment by including them. She made everyone feel like family and she would never leave anyone behind. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her sons are her proudest accomplishments and her grandkids brought her immense joy. She never missed a moment to tell them how much they made her happy. She also had a penchant for sweets and was known to eat dessert before the main course. Overall, she enjoyed life and family, whether spending time snow skiing, canoeing, hanging out on the pontoon or being surrounded by her loved ones at home. She is survived by her husband, Pat Horn, two children: Patrick Horn and wife Georgia, Richard Horn and wife Rasha, two grandchildren: Jonathan Horn, Joseph Horn, and one brother, George Brecht.
