Mary Margaret Buehler, 88 of Kearney, Missouri, joined her beloved husband Russel C Buehler, in the loving arms of their savior Jesus Christ on Friday, July 29, 2022, at her home while holding her devoted daughter Linda’s hand. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and many friends she had touched throughout her full, incredible life. Mary was born a blessing to Fredrich and Meta Peters on a beautiful, breezy 66-degree day, Friday, December 1st, 1933, in Beaumont, Texas. Meta would later remarry, bringing her loving stepfather, Ferris into her life. Mary’s quiet, fun-loving personality was enjoyed by so many throughout a life of compassion, creativity, giftedness and faithfulness to her God, family, and friends. Mary worked at Hallmark Cards as an Artist until the birth of her first child. Her artistic talents would follow her in her new life as a devoted Domestic Engineer in the home, with hers and many other homes displaying her skillful portraits and paintings. She was often referred to by many as “the hardest working person I know”. She also excelled at landscaping, gardening, baking, crafts, restoration of almost anything, and could often be found lawn sculpting on one of her mowers. Mary was an avid Equestrian, Tennis player, Bowler, Flat Skier, and even tried skydiving at the youthful age of 80. Her faith in Christ was evident and unwavering. Mary’s natural beauty, inside and out, her unassuming yet magnetic personality will be missed by so many, but especially by those of her family she dearly loved, who must now learn how to manage life without her physical presence, until they can be gloriously reunited with her again in Heaven. Those survivors are Daughter Linda (Buehler) and Michael Gonzales of the home, Sons: Rusty and Theresa Buehler, Jim Buehler, Neil Buehler, Brother: Alfred Peters, Grandchildren: Kelsey Buehler, Lindsay (Buehler) and Ross Juliana, Grace Buehler, Lorin and Robert Anderson, Luke Viter, and many Great Grandchildren, Great Great Granchildren, and beloved cousins and close friends. She was preceeded in death by both parents and stepfather, and her loving husband Russel C Buehler. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 10 a.m. until Noon, followed by a service from Noon to 1 p.m. at Susquehanna AG Church, 622 N Jennings Rd, Independence, Mo 64056. Grave site will immediately follow service at Fairview Cemetery, 501 N Grove St, Kearney, Mo 64060. A dinner will follow the Grave Site service for family and close friends at Kearney First Baptist Church, 303 S Grove, Kearney, Mo 64060.
