Norman Fields, 87, of Kearney Missouri passed away August 25, 2022. Visitation will be held 9am - 10:30am Thursday, September 1st, 2022 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Excelsior Springs Missouri. Funeral Service will follow at 10:30am, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Internment service at Hillcrest Cemetery. Noman was born on January 5, 1935 in Polo Missouri to the late Elmer Fields and late Pauline Fields née Rauber. He married the love of his life, his late wife, Della Fields née Pummill on June 29, 1963. Norman graduated from Polo High School where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. After graduating high school, he joined the US ARMY where served via active duty from 1958-1960. He had many passions in life such as: gardening (vegetables), KC Chiefs, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and socializing with friends. Norman thoroughly enjoyed the 3 years he spent coaching little league baseball. He had a great sense of humor which will be missed by all. Survivors include his two daughters, Karen Shepherd, Paula Fields, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, four siblings: Harold, Velva, Mildred, and Jean.
