OBITUARY Linda Kay Huskey 7/29/1947 - 6/28/2020 Linda Kay Huskey, 72, of Lawson passed away of natural causes, Sunday, June 28, 2020, in Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehab, Excelsior Springs, MO. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 10-11:30 am, The funeral will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home Of Lawson, 412 N Raum St, Lawson, MO.816-580-3000. Linda was born July 29, 1947. She is the daughter of the late Wade and the late Mary Ella Huff. Linda was the oldest of one sister Ida Nadine. She married Donnie Huskey, April,1st 1966. Linda attended East High in Kansas City School and graduated in 1965. Linda had several careers throughout her career, from working as a hair stylist and CNA. Linda was very involved in her children’s lives, cheering with her oldest or wrestling (in the stands) with her son. She enjoyed being a part of Booster Club for Lawson High School. Many of the kids called her MOM. Linda was well known. Linda met her husband of 53 years working at Hallmark Cards, they courted for about a year, before getting married April 1, 1967. She is survived by her husband: Donnie Huskey, two daughters: Rebecca Ann and Jennifer Lynn,, and one son: Bruce Allan, one sister: Ida Nadine, she also has eight grandchildren: Chadwick Randall, Patricia Rae, Racheal Ann, Kaylea Janice, Travis Dean, Brittney Rae, Brandon Lee, Alexandria Nichole, Several Nieces, Several Nephews, and Several Cousins.
