James E. Hacker, 58, of Rayville, Mo passed away Tuesday July 21, 2020 at home. Visitation will be Tuesday July 28, 2020 at 10am, funeral at 11am at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs, Mo. James was born December 8, 1961 in Kansas City, Mo. He is the son of James Robert Hacker and Mary Ruth (Alexander) Hacker. He served in the Air Force as a plane technician and mechanic. He served during the Gulf War. His love for planes did not end when he left the military. He continued to enjoy planes and even had his private pilots license. He also enjoyed the sport of motocross with his sons. He is survived by his son: Errick Shaffer; his mother: Mary Ruth (Alexander) Hacker, a brother: Phillip (Susan) Hacker of Rayville, MO; a sister: Shelly (Robert) Clevenger of Independence MO; and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his father James Robert Hacker and his son Trey Ely Hacker.
