Ronald Wayne Shipley passed away July 22, 2020, due to complications from lung cancer. He was 75. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 1:00-2:00PM at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Lawson, Lawson, MO. The funeral service will begin at 2:00PM. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 10 for many years before retiring to his farm in Knoxville, MO., in 2002, where he raised cattle and started Shipwreck's Welding. Everyone he met became a friend. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, but he was most at home on his tractor. He is survived by his wife, Dee Shipley; three siblings, Henry Shipley, Linda Brown and Bill Leamer; children: Jim Shipley, Robert Shipley, Steven Woolfolk, Cammie Medlock, Christie Shipley, Angela Bennett, George Shipley, Sheila Shipley, Rhonda Wettengale and Shannon Shipley; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and "adopted" grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Shipley; mother Nadine Leamer; step-father Forrest Leamer, and one brothers Leon Shipley.
