Obituary of Diona Mary Rowe

Diona Mary Rowe passed into eternity on July 27, 2020. Diona was born on September 11, 1976 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Forrest and Margaret Rowe. Diona studied at Sunshine Center School, Independence, Missouri and Antioch Middle School, North Kansas City, Missouri, where she competed in the Special Olympics. Upon graduation, Diona worked at Ideal Industries in Richmond, Missouri. Diona was a faithful Catholic, devoted daughter and sister, diligent worker, and joyful person who enriched the lives of those around her. Diona was preceded in death by her loving mother Margaret Rowe. She is survived by her father Forrest Rowe and her brother Father Charles Rowe. The visitation will be held at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs from 5-7pm on Friday July 31, 2020, with the rosary and vigil prayed at 6:30pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church in Excelsior Springs at 10am on Saturday, August 1, 2020; burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Kansas City. Memorial gifts may be made to the Seminarian Education Fund of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, St. Ann Catholic Church, or Ideal Industries of Richmond, Missouri.
