Daniel Wayne Baker 05/14/1972-8/8/2020 Daniel Wayne Baker, 48, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020, at home in Excelsior Springs. The funeral will be held 4:00 pm on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home Of Kearney, 925 MO-92, Kearney, MO Daniel was born May 14, 1972, in Cameron, MO. He is the son of Loren Danny and Dixie Jo (Lawson) Baker. He was employed at Arrowhead Containers. Danny was an amazing story teller and enjoyed sharing childhood memories of his grandparents when he was a kid. He had a natural knack for taking care of all types of animals and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and four wheelers. He loved grilling for his family and creating his own special flavors when creating new dishes in the kitchen. Danny had a great sense of humor that always showed in his smile and laughter. He will be missed dearly by family and friends. He will be in our hearts forever. He is survived by his children: Corie Baker, Gabe Baker, Angie Baker, Preston Baker and Daniel Baker, his father Loren Danny and mother Dixie Jo (Lawson) Baker, two sisters: Stacey Los and Stephanie Baker.
