Dayton B Holt, 86, of Lawson Missouri passed away peacefully Monday, September 21, 2020, in Liberty Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, September 24, 2020, from 10-11am at Lawson Cemetery. The graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Lawson Cemetery, 251 N Clark St, Lawson, MO. Dayton was born January 29, 1934. He is the son of the late Bernard A and the late Fern (Mayes) Holt. He married Shirley Ann Bush on November 6, 1953 in Kansas City Missouri. Dayton had many joys in life, but his biggest, by far, being his family. He loved to watch all Kansas City Chiefs and Royals games with his family. He also looked forward to watching his own children and grandchildren play sports. All who knew Dayton would tell you that he was a “straight shooter” who made his honest thoughts known. Dayton, even though he was honest with his opinion, did so with a big heart. He was a loving gentleman who cared for all in his life. He is survived by his wife: Shirley Ann (Bush) Holt, one daughter: Pam (Robert) Handley, two grandchildren; Beau (Emily) Handley, Kelsey Handley, four great-grandchildren; Brooklynn Handley, Jaxson Handley, Rylee Lynch, & Maci Lynch.
