Robert "Joe" Joe Bailey, 57, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020, at home in Excelsior Springs. Joe was born April 10, 1963, in Kansas City, MO. He is the son of the late Bennie Joe and the late Mary Laverne (Crowder) Bailey. Joe was a good dad and grandfather. He loved his grandchildren a lot. He was an amazing brother and uncle and loved playing with his nieces and nephews. Joe shared a birthday with one of his nephews and they often celebrated together, teasing each other about stealing their birthdays. In recent years he gained an even closer relationship with his sister. Joe was a good cook, often cooking for the Elks Lodge in addition to calling Bingo at the Elks. Joe was all about the children, looking out for youngsters. He donated a lot of time and money to the Lowenstein Foundation and the ENF Benevolent Trust. He is survived by one daughter: Heather (Kyle) Falcon of Gladstone, MO; two grandchildren: Issabella and Julian Falcon; and one sister: Cheryl (Randy) Mynatt; and many nieces and nephews who will miss him. In addition to his parents, Joe is proceeded in death by his grandparents.
