James Ray Ivie, 50, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away October 16, 2020 at home. Visitation will be held at 12pm, October 23, 2020 at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Lawson. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, October 23, 2020 also at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Lawson. A graveside service will follow at Lawson Cemetery. Mr. Ivie was born on August 8, 1970 in Claremore, Oklahoma. James graduated from Kearney High School where he was a member of the marching band. He attended college at Southwest Missouri State University, then graduated from UMKC in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked for DST for 20 years. He completed a college course in computer languages in Spring of 2020. Survivors include his son James Bennett Ivie and his parents James Leroy Ivie and Cheryl Bennett Ivie.
