I knew Jerry and Betty from the work they did at the courthouse. They did so much for my offices and the entire building. You could not help but love them. I am sure Betty and the family will miss him greatly.

Deepest sympathies to his family. He was always quick with a smile! He just did some work for us earlier this summer, Betty always by his side. He always joked that he was just a "half-assed electrician". Well, he was the BEST half-assed electrician!! He will be sorely missed. Betty, Dale and Gary, may you be comforted by your memories and strengthened by the love of family and friends. Bruce and Susan Adams

Jerry, I cannot thank you enough for all of the help you have given me over the years with all of my electrical issues. I knew I could call you any time, and you'd have the answers for me. You will be missed, but we will meet again some day my friend. God Bless You, rest in peace!

Jerry was just an amazing, loving, kind, caring, person and I had the privilege of having him as my father, role model and hero. Dad loved helping people. He used his skills and talents as an electrician to assist those in need when they would call. We could be on a family vacation or at Christmas dinner it didn't matter. If that phone would ring, we would stop what we were doing because he would answer it with sincerity and dedication. Dad and Mom always traveled together on service calls. If you saw the Sanson Electric work truck out you would see Mom (Betty) sitting in the truck with Dad. She did not go along just for the ride either. She knew where every tool and piece of material was located on that truck. When Dad would ask for a handy box or 1/2" compression connector she would go get it. They both always wore matching shirts "Sanson Electric".
Dad was my mentor and had me helping him run electrical wire when I was 12 yrs old. Dad's passion and devotion to electrical work continued as a mentor and inspiration to my son Brody who now has his own electrical business as well. Three generations now. This time of year during the Holidays is always special to us. We would look forward to working together hanging Christmas Lights around Excelsior Springs and Richmond. Dad would help load them & drive while Brody and I worked in the back hanging them on the poles. Dad you would be proud, this year I stepped up into the drivers seat and took Mom along for the ride. There will not be a day go by you are not missed or not thought of. Your Legacy lives on. Love you, Gary
