Buddy and Paula Preston posted a condolence

Uncle Buddy and I are so saddened for the family. Deborah now is with Jesus in her Glorified body Our loss is Heavens Gain. She was only 3 when Her Uncle Buddy and I married. She and I bonded right away. We have so many fond memories. She was beautiful inside and out, and she didn’t just talk the talk about her faith, she lived it. This world would be a better place if there were more like Deborah. She will be missed greatly and live in our hearts forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with Melvin, her husband and the love of her life ,her children Carrissa, Jenny, Mallory, Lee ,their families Her mom, Lola Belle , and brothers Larry, Donald, Allen, and Chuck.

So very sorry that you have lost such a vibrant soul. I remember her from our high school days as a positive, friendly force...and a terrific cheerleader! Again, my condolences.

Debbie Hummel posted a condolence

What a super witness for Jesus Debbie was! When she talked about her illness she would assure everyone it was what God had prepared her for her whole life, to die with total faith that God was not making a mistake. ( I know we are all trying to believe that right now.). She taught me so much about facing death with a positive attitude. After talking to her over the past year I always came away thinking I had been in the presence of Jesus! I have never felt that from anyone ever before and I can truly say I could see Jesus in her eyes. Thanks Debbie what a great great example you were in your death! She always said I hurt that my family will lose me but God has this and they will make it with God's help. Praying for you her family - I am so sorry! I will never forget her. Prayers for comfort.

Debbie was such a sweet, gracious lady with a beautiful smile she shared with all she met.
She was always ready to help in any way she could when her children attended Southwest Elementary. I did appreciate her so much.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all of the family.
