Timothy (Tim) Francis O’Brien passed away peacefully at his home in Ray County Mo on Monday Morning. He was an avid reader and enjoyed most books about the American frontier and the World Wars. He greatly enjoyed visiting National parks across the country. He was a doting grandfather, who always let his granddaughters talk him into things he wouldn’t otherwise do. He enjoyed spending anytime time he could with his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his brother and sister-in-law at their home in Smithville, or anywhere outdoors where he could enjoy the weather and be around family. He worked as a paramedic for several years and often spoke after his retirement of the joys of that job. While not a Veteran himself he took treat pride in speaking about issued involving veterans. As he was very proud of his two Sons who have serve. In lieu of flowers the Family asks that a donation be made to your local veterans’ organization. Survived by his Three children, two sons, Shamus and Justin, Daughter Catie, Six granddaughters, Four brothers, one sister. Preceded in death his Parents Lois and Donald O’Brien Service will be held at a later date.
