So sorry to hear this.
Haven't seen Walt for many years but we touched base on FB several times.
Did some work for George as a young man and worked on Walt's hay crew several times.
May he rest in peace.

It would be 10 years next August since I became Walt and Janet’s neighbor. Though we didn’t talk as often as we should have, living a football field apart, but I always enjoyed our conversations (Unless it got political)… Regardless, we both shared a passion in gardening and a fiery hatred for moles. He would always brag on Walter Ray and how proud he was of him. If it wasn’t Walter Ray it was bragging about being a grandpa. If there is one thing I regret not telling Walt, was the fact that the sack of white onions he gave me every year usually went to waste because I’m not a big fan of them… He was a good neighbor, a good man, and a good friend and I will miss him dearly.
With love,
Blake, Lauren, and Link Thomas

Walt was a great guy, a friend , a farmer always supplying vegetables and especially tomatoes to my wife and I. He would even go out and buy us fruit and vegetables at the local farmers market. Just because he wanted to. He though of others always. The NE138th St Bourbon fellowship will be short a member now but he’ll always have a place with us at the shop. Glad my family got to know you. And glad you were my nighbor
